Our Journey at TCG Salon & Headspa

Founded in 2011, TCG Salon & Headspa was born from a desire to elevate the modern salon experience, creating a sanctuary where guests can always feel cared for and relaxed. Our mission is to empower our team to make the world more beautiful, one head at a time.

Over the years, we've been honored with numerous awards and recognitions. We've been consistently nominated for Best Salon in Orlando by Orlando Weekly and Orlando's Best. We've also won the Phorest Client Experience Award for four consecutive years. Additionally, our master stylist and owner, Demi, has twice secured 2nd place for Best Stylist in Orlando.

Our journey hasn't been without challenges. In our early days, the luxury services we offered were ahead of the curve for our neighborhood, making it difficult to attract guests willing to invest in our quality services. Staffing was also a challenge due to financial constraints. The COVID-19 pandemic brought even greater difficulties, leading to significant staff losses and financial risks due to closures and the need to navigate new restrictions.

Despite these obstacles, we’ve grown from a small business with just two stylists to a full-scale salon and headspa with 11 service providers. We’ve weathered changes, including five landlords and three major remodels. The most pivotal moment came in November 2017 when we partnered with Aveda. This partnership allowed us to offer high-performance skin, hair, and body products, elevating our services to new heights.

Today, we provide a spa-like salon experience like no other, complete with aromatherapy, hand massages, hot towel treatments, and relaxing scalp massages with every hair service. We are also proud to be the first Aveda salon to offer luxury headspa services inspired by Japanese headspas.

These headspa services are designed to provide a deep sense of relaxation and rejuvenation. We incorporate techniques that cleanse, exfoliate, and hydrate the scalp, improving overall scalp health and promoting hair growth. Our headspa treatments also include soothing massages that relieve tension and stress, leaving guests feeling refreshed and revitalized. Using high-quality Aveda products, each treatment is customized to meet individual needs, ensuring that every guest experiences the ultimate in relaxation and wellness.

Located in the heart of Central Orlando's Hourglass District, our single location is just the beginning. Our vision for the future includes moving to a larger space, opening a second location, and eventually franchising. We’re committed to giving more back to the community and charities and providing our team with opportunities for financial freedom, stability, and a healthy work-life balance.
